Arrow Shark Onboard E-starter
(Servo Switching Version)
A dream of many gas boat enthusiasts is to be able to start, or to re-start, their engine whilst the boat is on the water. Arrow Shark Hobby's latest product brings that dream to reality with this innovative onboard electric starter. Using a potent electric race motor capable of more than 25,000 rpm, the starter has four heavy-duty metal gears that harness those rpms for increased torque to spin your gas engine. A one-way bearing acts as a clutch so that the starter motor automatically disengages as soon as your gas engine starts. Our onboard starter comes as a complete package with dual CNC mounting plates, the four metal gear cogs, a CNC flywheel holder, the electric motor, mounting screws and an Servo switching assembly that is operated by the third channel of your radio (Servo is pre-installed in the CNC mount along with water-proof switch). A click on the third channel switch of your transmitter will spin the starter motor - just release the third channel when your gas engine starts and the electric motor will stop. The onboard starter fits the bolt pattern of a Zenoah engine, so it can be easily fitted to any engine that accepts a standard Zenoah pull-starter. The additional items you will need to supply are an 11.1volt, 2200-4000mah LiPo battery (plus suitable charger) and grease for the one way bearings.

Arrow Shark Non-Spring Version Clutch System
Continuing our program of ongoing product development, Arrow Shark Hobby has totally revised the design of our gas engine clutch. We have replaced the separate clutch shoe and multiple springs of our previous clutch with a one-piece spring-steel clutch shoe for even better reliability. This durable shoe gives a smooth drive-engagement as revs increase and avoids the need to replace separate springs over time. The clutch bell is anodised gold for an attractive appearance and to improve resistance against corrosion. The mounting plate bolts align with the standard pattern of a Zenoah engine for easy fitting (without necessarily using Arrow Shark engine mounts). Also for added convenience, the collet of this new clutch uses two spanners of the same size (16mm) for tightening against the flex shaft. Color available in Red & Silver.

CNC Quick Release Engine Mount

This is the Arrow Shark 2009 new release set of sturdy and reliable quick-release engine mounts. They are specifically designed to accommodate the water-cooled Zenoah G231PUM and G260PUM engines, and are made from lightweight but strong T-6061 machined aluminum. They come with CNC carb insulation block intake venturi,trottle adaptor,and coil mount, The CNC carb insulation block has been rotated to allow an easier and more direct throttle linkage, and also to position the idle setting and the high and low speed needles to where they can be more conveniently adjusted
